(Index No. 23664/06)

ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Appeals by the plaintiff from two orders of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated September 21, 2012, and March 15, 2013, respectively. The plaintiff perfected the appeals on August 13, 2013. On March 31, 2014, the plaintiff discharged its attorney.

Now, on the Court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that the parties are directed to show cause why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeals on the ground that the plaintiff discharged its attorney and the plaintiff may not prosecute the appeals without being represented by an attorney (see CPLR 321), by filing an affidavit or affirmation on that issue with the Clerk of this Court, on or before November 7, 2014; and it is further,

ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court, or her designee, shall serve a copy of this order to show cause upon the parties by regular mail.

RIVERA, J.P., SKELOS, CHAMBERS and HALL, JJ., concur.
