Motion for permission to proceed as a poor person and to proceed on original file of Workers' Compensation Board.

Motion for extension of time to perfect appeal.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motions, and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion for permission to proceed as a poor person and to proceed on the original file of the Workers' Compensation Board is denied, without costs, and without prejudice to renewal upon a showing that a timely appeal has been taken to this Court from the Board decision filed September 26, 2013. It is noted that, on renewal, claimant must also set forth sufficient facts so that the merit of the contentions underlying the appeal can be ascertained, as required by CPLR 1101 (a). It is further

ORDERED that the motion for an extension of time to perfect the appeal is granted, without costs, and the time to perfect the appeal is extended to January 21, 2015.
