Appeal by the plaintiff and the cross-claim defendants from an order of the Supreme Court, Rockland County, entered August 23, 2013.
On the Court's own motion and upon the correspondence submitted to this Court by the parties, it is
ORDERED that the parties or their attorneys show cause why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the above-entitled appeal on the ground that the action has been settled, by filing an affidavit or affirmation on that issue with the Clerk of this Court, and serving one copy of the same on each other, on or before January 21, 2015; and it is further,
ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court, or her designee shall serve a copy of this order to show cause on the parties or their attorneys by facsimile transmission and regular mail.
