2013-06003, 2013-06006 In the Matter of Maalesa R. (Anonymous). Administration for Children's Services, petitioner- respondent; Harinarine R. (Anonymous), respondent- appellant. (Docket No. N-24076-12)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by the respondent-appellant for leave to file a replacement brief on appeals from two orders of the Family Court, Queens County, dated March 21, 2013, and May 2, 2013, respectively. By order to show cause dated December 17, 2014, the parties were directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal from the order dated March 21, 2013, on the ground that no appeal lies from an order entered upon the consent of an appealing party, and dismissing the appeal from the order dated May 2, 2013, on the ground that the appeal has been rendered academic, and the respondent-appellant's motion was held in abeyance in the interim.
Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, and upon the papers filed in support of the respondent-appellant s motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeals is granted, and the appeals are dismissed, without costs or disbursements; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion is denied as academic.
RIVERA, J.P., MILLER, HINDS-RADIX and DUFFY, JJ., concur.
