The People, etc., respondent, v Mohammed Zafor, appellant. (Ind. No. 1871/11)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Appeal by Mohammed Zafor from an order of the Supreme Court, Queens County, dated November 12, 2014. By order to show cause dated January 5, 2015, the appellant was directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal on the ground that the order on appeal is not appealable as of right and leave to appeal has not been granted (see CPL 450.10, 450.15). By decision and order on application of this Court dated March 5, 2015, the appellant's application pursuant to CPL 450.15 and 460.15 for a certificate granting leave to appeal to this Court from the order of the Supreme Court, Queens County, dated November 12, 2014, was denied.
Now, upon the order to show cause and no papers having been filed in response thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal is granted; and it is further,
ORDERED that the appeal purportedly taken as of right is dismissed.
DILLON, J.P., DICKERSON, DUFFY and BARROS, JJ., concur.
