Manjula Patel, respondent, v Vinod Patel, appellant. (Index No. 200220/11)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by the appellant pro se to stay enforcement of a decision of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, dated November 18, 2014, pending hearing and determination of an appeal therefrom. Separate motion by the appellant pro se for poor person relief and for the assignment of counsel.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motions, the papers filed in opposition to the motion for a stay, and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation to the motion for poor person relief and for the assignment of counsel, it is
ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeal is dismissed, without costs or disbursements, on the ground that no appeal lies from a decision (see Schicchi v J.A. Green Constr. Co., 100 AD2d 509); and it is further,
ORDERED that the motions are denied as academic.
RIVERA, J.P., SKELOS, ROMAN and LASALLE, JJ., concur.
