ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Appeal by Carlos A. M. from an order of the Family Court, Nassau County, dated May 5, 2015.

On the Court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that the parties are directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal, on the ground that the appeal has been rendered academic as the subject child has attained the age of 21, by filing an affidavit or affirmation on that issue with the Clerk of this Court and serving one copy of the same on each other on or before August 25, 2015; and it is further,

ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court, or her designee, shall serve a copy of this order to show cause on the parties by regular mail.
