In the Matter of Spencer Lader, a disbarred attorney. (Attorney Registration No. 1507060)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by Spencer Lader for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Mr. Lader was admitted to Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on February 23, 1977. By order to show cause dated March 23, 1982, Mr. Lader was suspended from the practice of law pending outcome of a disciplinary proceeding against him. By opinion and order of this Court dated November 22, 1982, Mr. Lader was disbarred upon his resignation and his name was stricken from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated October 7, 2011, Mr. Lader's first motion for reinstatement was denied. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated February 8, 2012, his motion for reargument of the decision and order dated October 7, 2011, or in the alternative, for leave to appeal to the Court of Appeals, was denied.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is denied.
We find that Spencer Lader does not demonstrate the requisite character and fitness to practice law.
ENG, P.J., RIVERA, DILLON, BALKIN, and DICKERSON, JJ., concur.
