Motion by the appellant to stay enforcement of an order of the Family Court, Kings County, dated March 1, 2016, and to direct that Nakia B. shall, inter alia, continue to stay away from April T. and the subject children, as well as their school or place of employment, as set forth in a temporary order of protection dated July 6, 2015, pending hearing and determination of an appeal from the order dated March 1, 2016.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition and in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted, and enforcement of the order is stayed and Nakia B. shall, inter alia, continue to stay away from April T. and the subject children, as well as their school or place of employment, as set forth in a temporary order of protection dated July 6, 2015, pending hearing and determination of the appeal from the order dated March 1, 2016, on condition that the appeal is perfected on or before May 5, 2016; and it is further,

ORDERED that in the event the appeal is not perfected on or before May 5, 2016, the Court, on its own motion, may vacate the stay, without further notice, or Nakia B. may move to vacate the stay, on three days notice.
