ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Writ of habeas corpus in the nature of an application to set bail upon Queens County Ind. No. 1659/14. The writ was argued before this Court on March 14, 2016. Counsel for the petitioner has advised the Court that the petitioner has entered a plea of guilty in connection with Ind. No. 1659/14.

Now, on the Court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that the parties are directed to show cause why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the writ of habeas corpus as academic by filing an affirmation or affidavit on that issue with the Clerk of this Court on or before April 6, 2016, and serving one copy of the same on each other; and it is further,

ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court, or her designee, is directed to serve a copy of this order to show cause on the parties by regular mail.
