2016-02212 The People, etc., ex rel. Audrey Thomas, on behalf of Sean Chung, petitioner, v Warden, Vernon C. Bain Center, etc., respondent.
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Writ of habeas corpus in the nature of an application to set bail upon Queens County Ind. No. 89/15. The writ was argued before this Court on March 14, 2016. Counsel for the petitioner has advised the Court that the petitioner has entered a plea of guilty in connection with Ind. No. 89/15. By order to show cause dated March 22, 2016, the parties were directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the writ of habeas corpus as academic.
Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal is granted, and the appeal is dismissed, without costs or disbursements.
CHAMBERS, J.P., COHEN, DUFFY and CONNOLLY, JJ., concur.
