(Attorney Registration No. 3905783)

DECISION & ORDER ON

FOR REINSTATEMENT

Motion by Anna Feldman for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Ms. Feldman was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on March 7, 2001. By decision and order on application of this Court dated April 9, 2013, the Grievance Committee for the Ninth Judicial District was authorized to institute and prosecute a disciplinary proceeding against Ms. Feldman based upon the acts of professional misconduct set forth in a verified petition dated January 11, 2013, and the matter was referred to the Honorable Alfred J. Weiner, as Special Referee, to hear and report. By opinion and order of this Court dated September 10, 2014, Ms. Feldman was suspended from the practice of law for a period of six months, effective October 10, 2014. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated July 6, 2015, Ms. Feldman's motion for reinstatement was held in abeyance and the matter was referred to the Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate and report on her character and general fitness to practice law, including but not limited to, her future intentions with respect to the practice of law and the future use of outside management firms to run her law practice.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, and upon the report of the Committee on Character and Fitness and the exhibits annexed thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied.

We find that Anna Feldman does not demonstrate the requisite character and fitness to practice law.

ENG, P.J., MASTRO, RIVERA, DILLON and BALKIN, JJ., concur.
