In the Matter of Roger E. C. (Anonymous).

St. Vincent's Services, petitioner-respondent;

Angel C. (Anonymous), respondent-appellant,

et al., respondent.

(Docket No. B-24084-12)

DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeal by Angel C. from a purported order of the Family Court, Kings County, dated March 17, 2016. By order to show cause dated May 5, 2016, the parties were directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal in the above-entitled proceeding on the ground that there is no order of the Family Court, Kings County, dated March 17, 2016, in the above-entitled matter.

Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the notice of appeal from the purported order dated March 17, 2016, is deemed to be a notice of appeal from an order of the Family Court, Kings County, dated February 10, 2016 (see CPLR 5512[a]; 5520[c]).

BALKIN, J.P., ROMAN, COHEN and CONNOLLY, JJ., concur.
