Motion by appellant's assigned counsel to abate an appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, dated February 21, 2013, issued pursuant to Correction Law § 168-n, upon the death of the appellant on August 6, 2014.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is granted to the extent that the appeal is dismissed as academic and the motion is otherwise denied.
