| ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE |
Appeal by the defendant, Edward Mullins, from an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, dated March 29, 2016.
On the Court's own motion, it is
ORDERED that the parties are directed to show cause why the appeal should or should not be dismissed on the grounds that the notice of appeal is not in compliance with CPLR 5515 and Jerome A. Scharoff, P.C., the attorney for the plaintiff, Angela Mullins does not have authority to file a notice of appeal on behalf of the defendant, by filing an affidavit or affirmation on that issue with the Clerk of this Court on or before July 29, 2016, and serving one copy of the same on each other; and it is further,
ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court, or her designee, shall serve a copy of this order to show cause on the parties by regular mail.
