DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by Irving Singer, inter alia, for leave to reargue a disciplinary proceeding against him, which was determined by an opinion and order of this Court dated March 9, 2016, and, upon reargument, to modify the sanction imposed, or, in the alternative, for leave to appeal to the Court of Appeals from the opinion and order of this Court. Mr. Singer was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on December 15, 1965. By decision and order on application dated February 7, 2014, this Court authorized the Grievance Committee to institute and prosecute a disciplinary proceeding against Mr. Singer, and the issues were referred to the Honorable Gary Weber, as Special Referee, to hear and report. By opinion and order of this Court dated March 9, 2016, this Court suspended Mr. Singer from the practice of law for a period of one year, commencing April 11, 2016.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied.
