| ECISION & ORDER ON APPLICATION FOR REINSTATEMENT |
Application by Diane Calderone for reinstatement as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Ms. Calderone was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on January 18, 1989. By opinion and order of this Court dated March 8, 1993, Ms. Calderone was disbarred on default. By decision and order on application of this Court dated December 28, 2001, Ms. Calderone's application for reinstatement was held in abeyance and the matter was referred to the Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate and report on her current fitness to be an attorney.
Upon the papers filed in support of the application and the papers filed in relation thereto, and upon the report of the Committee on Character and Fitness, it is
ORDERED that the application is denied on the ground the applicant has abandoned the application.
