| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by the respondent on appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated February 17, 2016, and an amended judgment of the same court dated May 9, 2016, in effect, to dismiss the appeals on the ground that the order and amended judgment were entered upon the default of the appealing party. Separate motion by the appellant, inter alia, to enlarge the time to perfect the appeals.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motions and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the respondent's motion is held in abeyance and referred to the panel of Justices hearing the appeals for determination upon the argument or submission thereof; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branch of the appellant's motion which is to enlarge the time to perfect the appeals is granted, the appellant's time to perfect the appeals is enlarged until February 14, 2016, and the record or appendix on the appeals and the appellant's brief must be served and filed on or before that date; and it is further,
ORDERED that the appellant's motion is otherwise denied.
