v Victoria Kogan, etc., respondent.

(Index No. 50940/16)

DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by Marc R. Lederman for leave to appeal to this Court from five orders of the Supreme Court, Richmond County, four dated November 7, 2016, and one dated November 9, 2016, and a decision of the same court dated November 7, 2016, and to stay enforcement of the orders and the decision, pending hearing and determination of the appeals.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeal purportedly taken as of right from the decision is dismissed, without costs or disbursements, on the ground that no appeal lies from a decision (see Schicchi v J.A. Green Constr. Co., 100 AD2d 509); and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is for leave to appeal from the orders is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeals purportedly taken as of right from the orders are dismissed, without costs or disbursements; and it is further,

ORDERED that the motion is otherwise denied as academic.

CHAMBERS, J.P., ROMAN, MILLER and BARROS, JJ., concur.
