| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by the defendant pursuant to CPL 530.45 to be released on his own recognizance, or in the alternative, to fix bail after his conviction in the Supreme Court, Queens County, upon a jury verdict, on November 18, 2016, of attempted murder in the second degree as a hate crime, attempted assault in the first degree as a hate crime, assault in the second degree as a hate crime, criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, and criminal mischief in the fourth degree as a hate crime.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, and upon hearing oral argument of the attorneys for the respective parties, it is
ORDERED that the motion is denied.
