DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the appellant to stay enforcement of an order and judgment (one paper) of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County, dated October 21, 2016, which, inter alia, directed the Suffolk County Board of Ethics to provide redacted copies of the subject financial disclosure statements to the respondent Suffolk County Legislature and, in the event that the subject financial disclosure statements have been turned over to the respondent Suffolk County Legislature, to stay the respondent Suffolk County Legislature, or anyone acting on its behalf, from taking any action to disclose the subject financial disclosure statements to the public, pending hearing and determination of an appeal from the order and judgment.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted, and enforcement of the order and judgment dated October 21, 2016 is stayed and, in the event that the subject financial disclosure statements have been turned over to the respondent Suffolk County Legislature, the respondent Suffolk County Legislature, or anyone acting on its behalf, is stayed from taking any action to disclose the subject financial disclosure statements to the public, pending hearing and determination of the appeal from the order and judgment.
