| DECISION & ORDER ON FOR REINSTATEMENT |
Motion by Thomas C. Brooks, Jr., for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Mr. Brooks was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on October 22, 2003. By opinion and order of this Court dated April 3, 2012, under Appellate Division Docket No. 2009-06541, Mr. Brooks was suspended from the practice of law for a period of two years, commencing May 3, 2012. By opinion and order of this Court dated September 24, 2014, under Appellate Division Docket No. 2012-10114, Mr. Brooks was suspended from the practice of law for a period of one year, effective immediately, in addition to the period of suspension imposed in the prior separate disciplinary proceeding.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is held in abeyance and the matter is referred to the Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate and report on the character and fitness of Thomas C. Brooks, Jr., to practice law.
