DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

lant.

Motion by Administration for Children's Services on appeals from an order of the Family Court, Kings County, dated December 2, 2016, and a decision of the same court also dated December 2, 2016, in effect, to continue the terms of an order of protection of the same court dated November 30, 2016, pending hearing and determination of the appeals.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition and in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeals from the decision are dismissed, without costs or disbursements, on the ground that no appeal lies from a decision (see Schicchi v J.A. Green Constr. Co., 100 AD2d 509); and it is further,

ORDERED that the motion is granted, and the terms of the order of protection dated November 30, 2016, are continued and shall remain in effect pending hearing and determination of the appeals from the order dated December 2, 2016.

AUSTIN, J.P., COHEN, MILLER and CONNOLLY, JJ., concur.
