The People of the State of New York, Respondent, v Joseph Matos, Appellant.

Motion by appellant for leave to prosecute an appeal from a judgment of conviction of the District Court of Suffolk County, First District, rendered August 18, 2016, on an abridged record dispensing with all minutes except for those for the proceedings held on May 6, 2016, June 16, 2016 and August 18, 2016, and for an enlargement of time to perfect the appeal.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in response thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branch of the motion seeking leave to prosecute the appeal on an abridged record is granted; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion seeking an enlargement of time to perfect the appeal is granted and the appeal shall be perfected by March 20, 2017.
