DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION A)

Motion by Kalman Weiss for leave to appeal to this Court from two orders of the Family Court, Kings County, both dated March 28, 2017, to stay enforcement of the orders pending hearing and determination of the appeals, and to seal the copy of the forensic report of Mark Rand, Ph.D., M.P.H., dated November 2, 2016, filed with the movant's motion papers.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition and in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is for leave to appeal is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeals purportedly taken as of right are dismissed, without costs or disbursements; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to stay enforcement of the orders is denied as academic; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to seal the copy of the forensic report of Mark Rand, Ph.D., M.P.H., dated November 2, 2016, filed with the movant's motion papers, and sealed pending hearing and determination of the motion by order to show cause of this Court dated April 7, 2017, is granted and the copy of the forensic report filed with the movant's motion papers shall continue to be sealed.
