| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT |
Motion by Edward Lawrence Abrams for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Mr. Abrams was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on May 7, 1975. By opinion and order of this Court dated December 19, 2005, Mr. Abrams was disbarred based on his conviction of a felony, and his name was stricken from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law, effective immediately.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is held in abeyance and the matter is referred to the Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate and report on Edward Lawrence Abrams's character and fitness to practice law, including but not limited to whether restitution was made.
