| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by the attorney for the children to dismiss an appeal from an order of the Family Court, Nassau County, dated January 26, 2016, on the ground that it has been rendered academic or, in the alternative, to enlarge the time to serve and file a brief.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to dismiss the appeal with respect to the child Dylan is granted; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to dismiss the appeal with respect to the child Connor is denied without prejudice to renewal upon Connor attaining the age of 18; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to enlarge the time of the attorney for the children to serve and file a brief is granted, the time of the attorney for the children to serve and file a brief is enlarged until September 7, 2017, and the brief of the attorney for the children shall be served and filed on or before that date.
