Appeal by Marlene O. from an order of the Family Court, Richmond County, dated December 2, 2016. By order on certification of this Court dated January 30, 2017, the following attorney was assigned as counsel for the respondent-appellant on the appeal, and was directed, inter alia, to contact the respondent-appellant and determine the respondent-appellant's interest in perfecting the appeal:

By letter dated May 11, 2017, assigned counsel notified the Court that she has been unable to contact the respondent-appellant. Subsequently, assigned counsel advised the Court that she can no longer represent the respondent-appellant.

On the Court's own motion, it is

ORDERED that assigned counsel is relieved of the assignment and directed to turn over all papers in the matter to new counsel herein assigned; and it is further,

ORDERED that pursuant to Family Court Act §§ 1118 and 1120, the following named attorney is assigned as counsel for the respondent-appellant:

and it is further,

ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court, or her designee, is directed to serve a copy of this order to show cause upon the parties or their attorneys, and upon the respondent-appellant, by regular mail.
