It is Ordered that the motion and cross motion are consolidated for disposition.
It is further Ordered that the cross motion to dismiss the appeal is granted unless the appeal is perfected by the November 2017 term - the filing deadline is September 13, 2017. In the event of appellant's failure to perfect by said term, respondent may move on five days notice for an order dismissing the appeal. Appellant's motion is granted to the extent of permitting the appeal to proceed on the original record and handwritten briefs.
