Motion by the defendant pursuant to CPL 530.45 to be released on his own recognizance, or in the alternative, to fix bail after his conviction in the County Court, Rockland County, upon a jury verdict, on October 6, 2017, of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree and petit larceny.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, and upon hearing oral argument of the attorneys for the respective parties, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied.
