Motion by Ameriprise Insurance Company for leave to appeal to this Court from two orders of the Supreme Court, Queens County, dated January 31, 2017, and April 7, 2017, respectively, and to stay all proceedings in the above-entitled matter, including the framed-issue hearing, pending hearing and determination of the appeals.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is for leave to appeal is denied; and it is further,
ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeals purportedly taken as of right are dismissed, without costs or disbursements; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion is otherwise denied as academic.
