Motion by J'min A. Ward for leave to file a late notice of appeal to this Court from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Orange County, dated July 14, 2017, for poor person relief, and for the assignment of counsel.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is for leave to file a late notice of appeal is denied without prejudice to the timely filing of a notice of appeal (see CPLR 5513, 5514); and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion is otherwise denied as academic.
