DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by appellant, by order to show cause dated November 20, 2017, for a stay pending the determination of an appeal from a judgment of the Civil Court of the City of New York, Kings County, entered October 17, 2017. Separate motion by appellant to waive the deposit requirement contained in the order to show cause dated November 20, 2017.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED, on the court's own motion, that appellant's motions are consolidated for purposes of disposition; and it is further,
ORDERED that appellant's motion for a stay pending the determination of the appeal is granted on condition that the appeal be perfected by April 6, 2018; and it is further,
ORDERED that in the event that any the above condition is not met, the court, on its own motion, may vacate the stay, or respondent may move to vacate the stay on three days' notice; and it is further,
ORDERED that appellant's motion to waive the deposit requirement in the order to show cause is denied as moot.
