DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated October 12, 2017. By order to show cause dated January 23, 2018, the parties were directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal purportedly taken on behalf of Peter G. on the ground that Irina Galanova was not authorized to file a notice of appeal on his behalf.

Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal is granted, and the appeal is dismissed, without costs or disbursements (see Whitehead v Town House Equities, 8 AD3d 369).

LEVENTHAL, J.P., HINDS-RADIX, BARROS and CONNOLLY, JJ., concur.
