DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by appellant on an appeal from a judgment of conviction of the District Court of Suffolk County, Suffolk County Traffic and Parking Violations Agency, rendered September 14, 2017, to strike certain portions of the District Court's return on appellant's affidavit of errors, and for an enlargement of time to perfect the appeal.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branch of the motion seeking to strike certain portions of the District Court's return is denied; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branch of the motion seeking an enlargement of time to perfect the appeal is granted and the appeal shall be perfected by May 4, 2018; and it is further,
ORDERED that in the event that the above condition is not met, the court, on its own motion, may dismiss the appeal, or respondent may move to dismiss the appeal on three days' notice.
