v Joseph Gravagna, appellant.

(Index No. 1339/16)

DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeals by Joseph Gravagna from two orders of the Supreme Court, Rockland County (IDV Part), both dated January 16, 2018. By order to show cause dated March 9, 2018, the parties were directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeals in the above-entitled action on the ground that no appeal lies as of right from an order that is not the result of a motion made on notice and leave to appeal has not been granted.

Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeals is granted, and the appeals are dismissed, without costs or disbursements (see CPLR 5701).

SCHEINKMAN, P.J., CHAMBERS, DUFFY and LASALLE, JJ., concur.
