Motion by the respondent to dismiss appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated September 10, 2015, and February 28, 2017, respectively, on the grounds that they have been rendered academic or, in the alternative, to consolidate the appeals and to enlarge the respondent's time to serve and file a brief in connection with the appeal from the order dated September 10, 2015. Application by the respondent pursuant to 22 NYCRR 670.8(d)(2) to enlarge the time to serve and file a brief in connection with the appeal from the order dated September 10, 2015.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branches of the motion which are to dismiss appeals or to consolidate the appeals are denied; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to enlarge the respondent's time to serve and file a brief in connection with the appeal from the order dated September 10, 2015, and the application for that relief are granted, the respondent's time to serve and file a brief is enlarged until May 29, 2018, and the respondent's brief shall be served and filed on or before that date; and it is further,
ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeals will be calendared together and will be argued or submitted on the same date.
