DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by appellant, pursuant to CPL 460.50, for a stay of execution of judgments of conviction of the Justice Court of the Town of Southampton, Suffolk County, dated January 26, 2018. By order to show cause dated April 18, 2018, the parties were directed to show cause before this court why the appeal should or should not be dismissed as no notice of appeal had been filed with the Justice Court of the Town of Southampton, Suffolk County. Separate motion by appellant for an extension of time to file a notice of appeal.
Upon the order to show cause and upon the papers filed in support of appellant's motions, and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that appellant's motion for an extension of time to file a notice of appeal is denied; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal as untimely is granted and the appeal is dismissed (see CPL 460.10, 460.30); and it is further,
ORDERED that appellant's motion for a stay is denied as academic.
