DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by Kareem Doran, inter alia, for leave to appeal to this Court from an order of the Supreme Court, Orange County, dated January 30, 2018, and a transcript of the same court dated January 30, 2018, to stay the inquest in the above-entitled action, and, in effect, to waive the motion filing fee.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to waive the motion filing fee is granted; and it is further,

ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeal from the transcript is dismissed, without costs or disbursements, as no appeal lies from an unsigned transcript (see Ojeda v Metropolitan Playhouse, 120 AD2d 717); and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is for leave to appeal from the order dated January 30, 2018, is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeal purportedly taken as of right from the order dated January 30, 3018, is dismissed, without costs or disbursements; and it is further,

ORDERED that the motion is otherwise denied as academic.
