Motion by the respondent Christopher Soto for leave to defend an appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Queens County, dated October 11, 2016, as a poor person, and for the assignment of counsel.

ORDERED that the motion is denied, with leave to renew upon proper papers, including the affidavit of the respondent Christopher Soto setting forth the amount and source of counsel fees paid to retained counsel in the trial court.
