DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by Law Offices of Kiel Van Horn, PLLC, for leave to withdraw as counsel for the respondent-appellant on appeals from two orders of the Family Court, Orange County, dated October 13, 2017, and November 13, 2017, respectively.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in relation or opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted, and on or before September 12, 2018, Law Offices of Kiel Van Horn, PLLC, shall serve its client by one of the methods specified in CPLR 2103(c), with a copy of this decision and order on motion and shall file proof of such service with the Clerk of this Court; and it is further,

ORDERED that no further proceedings shall be taken against the respondent-appellant without leave of the Court, until the expiration of 30 days after service upon him of a copy of this decision and order; and it is further,

ORDERED that pursuant to § 670.4(a) of the rules of this Court (22 NYCRR 670.4[a]), the respondent-appellant's time to perfect the appeals by causing the original papers constituting the record on the appeals to be filed in the office of the Clerk of this Court (see 22 NYCRR 670.9[d][2]) and by serving and filing the respondent-appellant's brief on the appeals is enlarged until November 13, 2018.
