| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by the appellant on appeals from a corrected order of commitment of the Family Court, Nassau County, dated March 23, 2018, a corrected order of disposition of the same court also dated March 23, 2018, and two orders of the same court dated March 23, 2018, and March 30, 2018, respectively, to stay enforcement of the corrected order of commitment and corrected order of disposition, and to stay any punitive enforcement actions against him, including Department of Motor Vehicle suspension or revocation of his driver's license, pending hearing and determination of the appeals. By order to show cause dated July 16, 2018, the parties were directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeals from the corrected order of commitment dated March 23, 2018, and the order dated March 23, 2018, in the above-entitled proceedings on the ground that they had been rendered academic, and the appellant's motion was held in abeyance in the interim.
Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, and upon the papers filed in support of the appellant's motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeals from the corrected order of commitment dated March 23, 2018, and the order dated March 23, 2018, is granted, and the appeals from the corrected order of commitment dated March 23, 2018, and the order dated March 23, 2018, are dismissed, without costs or disbursements; and it is further,
ORDERED that the appellant's motion is denied.
