| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Appeal by Darnel Powell from an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County, dated April 12, 2018. By order to show cause dated July 6, 2018, the parties were directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal in the above-entitled matter on the ground that no appeal lies from a writ of assistance.
Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal is granted, and the appeal is dismissed, without costs or disbursements (see CPLR 5701).
