DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the respondent, in effect, to hold in abeyance an appeal from an order of the Family Court, Nassau County, dated August 10, 2016, pending determination of a certain motion by the Supreme Court, Nassau County, and to enlarge his time as well as the time of the attorney for the children to serve and file a brief.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to hold the appeal in abeyance is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to enlarge the respondent's time to serve and file a brief is granted, the respondent's time to serve and file a brief is enlarged until October 30, 2018, and the respondent's brief shall be served and filed on or before that date; and it further,

ORDERED that no further extension of time shall be granted; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to enlarge the time for the attorney for the children to serve and file a brief is denied as academic as the brief was timely filed.
