DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

2018-1523 N C
Donna Samuels, Appellant, v Nina Mpantas and Bob Mpantas, Respondents.

Motion by appellant for leave to prosecute an appeal from a decision of the District Court of Nassau County, dated May 14, 2018, as a poor person.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED, on the court's own motion, that the appeal is dismissed, as no appeal lies from a decision (see UDCA 1702); and it is further,

ORDERED that appellant's motion is denied as academic.

Appellant's remedy, if she be so advised, is to cause a judgment to be entered and to appeal therefrom.
