DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by the petitioner-appellant for leave to serve and file an oversized brief of 30,000 words on an appeal from an order of the Family Court, Rockland County, dated March 30, 2018, for leave to serve and file an electronic version of his brief with electronic copies of the original papers constituting the record on appeal, and to waive compliance with the requirements regarding certification of the record on appeal pursuant to 22 NYCRR 1250.7(g).

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branches of the motion which are for leave to serve and file an oversized brief of 30,000 words and for leave to serve and file an electronic version of his brief with electronic copies of the original papers constituting the record on appeal are denied ; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to waive compliance with the requirements regarding certification of the record on appeal pursuant to 22 NYCRR 1250.7(g) is denied with leave to renew by a motion made simultaneously with the perfection of the appeal; and it is further,

ORDERED that pursuant to § 670.3(b) of the rules of this Court (22 NYCRR 670.3[b]), the appellant Barry Shisgal's time to perfect his appeal by causing the original papers constituting the record on the appeal to be filed in the office of the Clerk of this Court (see 22 NYCRR 1250.9[d][2]) and by serving and filing his appellant's brief is enlarged until November 8, 2018.
