Motion by Jonathan Lippman, Richard M. Aborn, Greg Berman, Robert B. Fiske, Jr., MaryAnne Gilmartin, Colvin W. Grannum, Michael P. Jacobson, Seymour W. James, Jr., Judy Harris Kluger, Julio Median, Ana L. Oliveria, Stanley Richards, Laurie Robinson, Peter G. Samuels, Herbert Sturz, Alethea Taylor, Jeremy Travis, and Kenneth H. Zimmerman, as members of the Independent Commission on NYC Criminal Justice and Incarceration Reform, for leave to file an amici curiae brief on an appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Dutchess County, dated January 31, 2018.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is granted; and it is further,
ORDERED that the amici curiae brief shall be served on the parties, and one original and five duplicate hard copies, and one digital copy, of the amici curiae brief shall be filed in this Court, on or before December 20, 2018; and it is further,
ORDERED that no oral argument by the amici curiae shall be permitted; and it is further,
ORDERED that the parties, if they be so advised, may file reply briefs to the amici curiae brief within 10 days after service upon them of the amici curiae brief.
