Motion by the appellant, inter alia, in effect, to stay enforcement of an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County, dated July 17, 2018, and to direct his release under certain conditions, pending hearing and determination of an appeal from the order, for an expedited briefing schedule, and for a preference in the calendaring of the appeal.
