Motion by appellant for leave to prosecute an appeal from a judgment of conviction of the Justice Court of the Town of Southampton, Suffolk County, rendered November 1, 2017, as a poor person, for the assignment of counsel and for an enlargement of time to perfect the appeal.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied without prejudice to renewal upon appellant furnishing this court with proper papers.

Appellant has failed to explain how he paid for private counsel to represent him in the Justice Court.
