DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT

Motion by Jerome Gross for leave to reargue his prior motion for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law, which was denied by a decision and order on motion of this Court dated February 16, 2016. Mr. Gross was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on April 4, 1962. By decision and order on application dated July 10, 2000, the Grievance Committee for the Second, Eleventh, and Thirteenth Judicial Districts was authorized to institute and prosecute a disciplinary proceeding against Mr. Gross, and the issues raised were referred to the Honorable John A. Monteleone, as Special Referee, to hear and report. By opinion and order of this Court dated October 1, 2001, Mr. Gross was disbarred, effective immediately. In two prior unrelated disciplinary proceedings, Mr. Gross was publically censured by opinion and order of this Court dated April 5, 1993, under Appellate Division No. 1990-00795, and suspended from the practice of law for a period of one year, by opinion and order of this Court dated March 26, 2001, under Appellate Division No. 2000-00001.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied.
